Y. Otoko’s Fantastical Fuyu Foray
Greetings, Fuyu Fest!
We haven’t formally met (yet!), but I’m very familiar with many of the fine humans currently in your midst. I’m something of a sake enjoyer myself, and, like several of the breweries in attendance today, I hail from Japan’s snow country. It’s a wonderful place to live, to be sure, but it can be quite a bit chilly this time of year… which brings me to my next point. I have a favor to ask of you all at Fuyu Fest.
As it turns out, the brewers who were supposed to be at the decidedly empty table before you got lost on their way down from their snowy brewery. Worry not! They’re safe in my care. But I do need your help to get to Fuyu Fest! It’s easier for me to find my way to places when they’re full of life and merriment. To that end, I’ve compiled this list of tasks for you to carry out while you attend the festival. I picked them out specifically to ensure you’re all having a great time… and maybe indulging in a little whimsical silliness, too.
You’ll only need to perform four of these tasks, and you can keep track of how many you’ve completed with the little stamp area I left in your booklets for you.
Hoping to see you real soon!
- Y. Otoko
Here’s how you can help!
Swing by Table 11 and visit my friends at Niigata Sake Selections. Be sure to ask: Have you heard of my friend, Y. Otoko? That’ll let them know you’re there to help me and get a stamp.
I love seeing my yeti and sasquatch relatives out in the wild, especially in the Pacific Northwest! If you spot any yetis — drawings, art, figurines, labels, anything! — take a pic and show it to my associate between rooms 1 and 2 to get a stamp!
I’m all for spreading yeti awareness. Visit my friend over in the area between rooms 1 and 2 to help spread some yeti fun around the venue and earn a cool new stamp!
It looks like some of the packages I was carrying shook loose from my pack! If you find any small packages around the festival, drop them off with my associate between rooms 1 and 2 for a stamp.
Guiding lost hikers and carrying all these packages makes me SUPER hungry. Could you check if my order is ready over with the folks at Electrica and Hey Day? Be sure to tell them: I’m here for Y. Otoko’s order. That way they know to give you a stamp!
Yetis love supporting local crafts, especially when it’s high quality. Swing by my friend’s stall at Yula Ceramics and see what they have on offer. Be sure to ask for a stamp while you’re there!
